Overview
Steel and aluminium plants are the most demanding environment for rotating and power-transmission equipment anywhere. Casters, rolling mills, blast-furnace auxiliaries and material-handling lines run around the clock under extreme radial load, heat, vibration and scale. SES is built for exactly this sector: we supply the genuine bearings, belts, drives and abrasives that keep the line turning, and — where the catalogue ends — we design fume-extraction systems, manufacture mandrels and rolls, and run root-cause analysis to stop the failure repeating. Extreme Load and Temperature
Rolling-mill and caster-roll bearings work under heavy combined loads at surface temperatures past 200°C. Only certified heat treatment and dimensional tolerance survive it.
Scale, dust and water ingress
Mill scale, oxide dust and cooling-water carryover destroy poorly sealed bearings and drives. Seal selection and lubrication design decide service life.
Fume and Dust Extraction Load
Stock houses and furnace bays generate enormous dust volumes. Under-sized or ageing FES fails emission norms and chokes production.
Short Maintenance Windows
