JK Fenner

Belts, seals, hoses and drives for the whole transmission.

SES is an authorised JK Fenner distributor, supplying a company that has built power transmission in India since 1929 and now exports to more than fifty countries. The industrial range covers wrapped V-belts — Poly-F Plus, Power Tran, Eco Drive and JK Transpower — raw-edge cogged belting including Fenner Power-Flex and Eco Drive Plus, Fenner Multipull Poly-V, and Fenner HTD and FXT synchronous belts, alongside oil seals, hydraulic and industrial hoses, gearboxes, shaft-mounted speed reducers, pulleys and gear couplings. Sections run classical Z, A, B and C, raw-edge Zx to Cx, SPZ to SPC wedge, Poly-V PK profiles and HTD 8M pitch. Raw-edge cogged construction is where most drives gain: the cogs cut bending resistance and shed heat, which is what raises efficiency and life on the small-diameter, high-speed drives Indian plants run hardest.

  • Every Section You Run

Classical Z/A/B/C, raw-edge Zx–Cx, SPZ–SPC wedge, Poly-V PK profiles and HTD 8M synchronous — matched to the groove.

  • Named Belt Lines

Poly-F Plus, Power Tran, JK Transpower, Fenner Power-Flex, Eco Drive Plus, Multipull, HTD and anti-static FXT.

  • Sealing and Fluid Transfer

Oil seals and valve stem seals, plus hydraulic and industrial hoses built to absorb pressure, noise and vibration.

  • Drives and Reducers

Gearboxes, shaft-mounted speed reducers, pulleys and gear couplings to complete the transmission beyond the belt.

Why raw-edge cogged belting outruns wrapped.

A wrapped belt carries a fabric cover over the whole profile. It is tough and forgiving, which is why it still suits older, larger-diameter drives. A raw-edge cogged belt exposes the sidewall to the pulley groove directly and cuts notches across the underside, and both changes matter. Direct sidewall contact raises the friction coefficient and reduces slip; the cogs cut bending resistance, so the belt flexes around a small sheave without the internal heat build-up that ages rubber. Less heat and less slip means more transmitted power in the same section — or the same power from a smaller drive. JK Fenner's Power-Flex and Eco Drive Plus lines are built on exactly that construction.

Section, pulley, alignment, tension — in that order.

A drive is specified as a system or it fails as one. Section first: the belt must ride on the groove flanks and never bottom out. Then pulley condition — worn flanks let the belt sit low, dropping the effective pitch diameter until the drive quietly loses grip and ratio, and the new belt takes the blame for the old sheave. Then alignment, where a few millimetres of offset across the centre distance loads one flank and halves the life of a sound belt. Tension last, and with a gauge: under-tension slips and burns, over-tension destroys the bearings either side. On multi-groove drives, matched sets keep load sharing even.

Rely on the leader — stocked locally.

Genuine JK Fenner belting, seals, hoses and drives through authorised supply, held against the sections Indian plants actually run. Kolkata and our branch network, with drive surveys where a repeat failure justifies one.
