Transmission Belts
Replacement belts for vehicles in service, covering camshaft timing belts, multi-ribbed accessory belts and traditional V-section fan belts. Each is catalogued against the vehicle rather than sold by section alone. SES holds the range as an authorised JK Fenner distributor, covering timing belts Vehicle specific tooth profile and count; ribbed belts Multi-rib profiles by rib count and length; v-belts Automotive V-sections for older platforms; cord Glass, aramid or polyester by application. Executions include camshaft timing belts, multi-ribbed accessory belts, automotive v-belts, belt-in-oil timing belts, among others. It is specified most often into camshaft timing drives at scheduled replacement and alternator and air conditioning compressor drives. Every part is genuine JK Fenner through official channels, with designation, specification and options confirmed against your duty before it ships — supplied from Kolkata and our branch network, with breakdown cover that does not sit in an inbox.

Where it runs.
You will find Transmission Belts in the parts of a plant where this particular duty actually occurs. In practice that means camshaft timing drives at scheduled replacement, alternator and air conditioning compressor drives, power steering pump drives on older platforms, and equally water pump drives on belt-driven pumps, tractor and off-highway engine fan drives, genset and pump set engine accessory drives. What links them is the duty rather than the machine name — types: Timing, multi-ribbed, V-section. If your installation is not on that list it matters less than you would think: the operating condition decides the specification. Send us the load, the speed, the running temperature and the environment it runs in, and we will match it to the right execution in the JK Fenner range and confirm what is in stock.
Specify it against the duty.
Specification here follows the operating condition, not the catalogue. Multi-ribbed belt is cracked across two or three ribs only — Replace the belt and inspect the pulley grooves for debris. Localised rib cracking usually means a stone or grit has been riding in one groove. Vehicle has an automatic tensioner at the end of its travel — Replace the tensioner with the belt. A stretched belt masked the wear; the correct length new belt puts the arm in a position where its damping no longer works. Interference engine past its timing belt interval — Change on interval whatever the belt looks like. Toothed belts fail by cord fatigue, which is not visible from the outside until the teeth go. Where two of those apply at once, specify for the harsher of the two — under-specifying is what puts the part back on the bench a month later. Send us the duty and we will confirm the execution.

Ordering this from SES.
Mark belt running direction with chalk if a belt has to come off and go back on during diagnosis. A used belt refitted backwards runs noisy and its cord fatigues faster than it would have in its original direction.
