A surface-treated carbon-steel roller chain for wet and salt-spray duty, positioned as a stronger, cheaper alternative to stainless. Each component is mechanically treated before assembly to give up to 30 times the life of standard carbon chain in corrosive conditions, with a hexavalent-chrome-free finish. SES holds the range as an authorised Renold distributor, covering base chain Cold-extruded solid bush and roller; corrosion 350 h salt-spray protection to DIN 50021; finish Hexavalent-chrome-free, applied pre-assembly; plates/rollers Shot-peened for fatigue life.
