Housing keeps taking in dust despite regular greasing — A taconite seal kit for that housing series instead of another greasing schedule. The seal is the problem, not the grease interval. Shaft has moved axially and worn the seal bore — Locating rings on both sides of the outer ring at the locating position, plus a new seal carrier if the bore is scored. Housing is being converted from grease to oil — The complete oil kit — level gauge, drain, filler and oil-tight seal set. Fitting only the level gauge leaves the old seals to weep.
