Multi-line Lubrication Systems
A pump with several independent outlets, each running its own line straight to one point. Nothing is shared downstream, so each point can have its own quantity and its own failure is confined to itself. SES holds the range as an authorised SKF distributor, covering outlets Typically 1 to 20 per pump; lubricants Oil and grease to NLGI 2; pressure Commonly up to 300 bar; element output Fixed or adjustable per outlet. Executions include electric multi-line pumps, pneumatic multi-line pumps, adjustable output elements, fixed output elements, among others. It is specified most often into small conveyor drive groups and take-up units and fan and blower bearing pairs on utilities. Every part is genuine SKF through official channels, with designation, specification and options confirmed against your duty before it ships — supplied from Kolkata and our branch network, with breakdown cover that does not sit in an inbox.

Where it runs.
You will find Multi-line Lubrication Systems in the parts of a plant where this particular duty actually occurs. In practice that means small conveyor drive groups and take-up units, fan and blower bearing pairs on utilities, machine tool slides and spindle bearing groups, and equally presses and shears in fabrication shops, agro processing machinery with few points, retrofit lubrication on individual gearboxes. What links them is the duty rather than the machine name — layout: One outlet per point, no distributors. If your installation is not on that list it matters less than you would think: the operating condition decides the specification. Send us the load, the speed, the running temperature and the environment it runs in, and we will match it to the right execution in the SKF range and confirm what is in stock.
Specify it against the duty.
Specification here follows the operating condition, not the catalogue. Points sit close together but need very different volumes — Individually sized pump elements. This is the layout where volume differences are handled without any distributor calculation at all. Machine is small and the maintenance team is not specialised — Multi-line, since a blocked line is traced by looking at one tube. Progressive and dual-line layouts need an understanding of the distributor to diagnose. Point count is likely to grow well past twenty — A progressive layout instead, before the installation goes in. Adding outlets to a multi-line pump means changing the pump, not adding a distributor. Where two of those apply at once, specify for the harsher of the two — under-specifying is what puts the part back on the bench a month later. Send us the duty and we will confirm the execution.

Ordering this from SES.
Number every tube at both ends when the system is installed. On a multi-line pump the outlets look identical, and an unlabelled bundle turns a five minute check into a shift of tracing. Send the designation off the failed part and we will confirm the SKF equivalent and stock position.
