Specification here follows the operating condition, not the catalogue. Bearings running above the speed rating grease can sustain — Oil and air rather than oil mist or grease. Grease churning at those speeds generates heat internally, and the resulting clearance loss shows up as smearing on the raceway. Bearing housing exposed to descaling spray or steam — Air flow set to maintain measurable positive pressure inside the housing at all times, including standstill. Once the pressure drops, cooling water is drawn straight past the seal and into the grease-free bearing. Feed line length changed during installation or a rebuild — Recalculated air flow and dose timing for the new run. Oil travels as a film along the tube wall, so line length and bore directly set the transit time from injector to bearing.
