Progressive Lubrication Systems
Pistons in a divider block feed the points strictly one after another, and each piston can only move when the one before it has finished. Because the sequence is forced, a single blocked outlet stops the whole block and is immediately detectable. SES holds the range as an authorised SKF distributor, covering points per system Typically up to about 50; outlets per block Commonly 6 to 20; pressure Up to about 350 bar; lubricants Oil and grease to NLGI 2. Executions include master divider blocks, secondary divider blocks, blocks with cycle indicator pins, blocks with proximity switch ports, among others. It is specified most often into mobile plant: excavators, loaders, drill rigs and truck and tipper chassis lubrication. Every part is genuine SKF through official channels, with designation, specification and options confirmed against your duty before it ships — supplied from Kolkata and our branch network, with breakdown cover that does not sit in an inbox.

Where it runs.
You will find Progressive Lubrication Systems in the parts of a plant where this particular duty actually occurs. In practice that means mobile plant: excavators, loaders, drill rigs, truck and tipper chassis lubrication, concrete batching and mixing plant, and equally sugar mill and rice mill drive lines, injection moulding and press machinery, small to medium conveyor systems in agro plants. What links them is the duty rather than the machine name — metering: Forced sequential, piston dividers. If your installation is not on that list it matters less than you would think: the operating condition decides the specification. Send us the load, the speed, the running temperature and the environment it runs in, and we will match it to the right execution in the SKF range and confirm what is in stock.
Specify it against the duty.
Specification here follows the operating condition, not the catalogue. The plant needs positive proof that every point was fed — A cycle indicator switch on the master block. Sequence is forced, so one working switch proves the whole downstream block dispensed. Points range from a small pin to a large slew bearing — Piston sizes selected per outlet, and pair outlets where a double dose is needed. Do not simply plug an unused outlet without bridging it internally. Machine works in very cold or very dusty conditions — A block with sealed outlets and the correct grease grade, since a stalled piston in a progressive block takes every downstream point out with it. Where two of those apply at once, specify for the harsher of the two — under-specifying is what puts the part back on the bench a month later. Send us the duty and we will confirm the execution.

Ordering this from SES.
When a block is blocked, do not crack a fitting to relieve it and call the job done. Find which outlet stalled, clear the line and the bearing behind it; the block is only reporting what the point did.
