Axial-radial Cylindrical Roller Bearings
One radial roller row and two axial roller rows built into a single preloaded unit. It gives a rotary table very high tilting rigidity in a housing height that a stacked pair of separate bearings could never match. SES holds the range as an authorised SKF distributor, covering bore range Roughly 100 mm to 950 mm; load directions Axial both ways, radial, and moment; preload Set at manufacture, not adjustable on site; mounting Bolted through both rings. Executions include open executions for oil-lubricated tables, sealed executions for coolant-exposed tables, standard and high-rigidity cross sections, bores from compact table sizes up to large faceplate diameters. It is specified most often into CNC rotary and indexing tables and tilting trunnion axes on five-axis machining centres. Every part is genuine SKF through official channels, with designation, specification and options confirmed against your duty before it ships — supplied from Kolkata and our branch network, with breakdown cover that does not sit in an inbox.

Where it runs.
You will find Axial-radial Cylindrical Roller Bearings in the parts of a plant where this particular duty actually occurs. In practice that means CNC rotary and indexing tables, tilting trunnion axes on five-axis machining centres, vertical turning lathe faceplates, and equally gear grinding and gear measuring tables, heavy dividing heads and welding positioners, precision turntables on assembly lines. What links them is the duty rather than the machine name — load: Axial both ways, radial, and tilting moment. If your installation is not on that list it matters less than you would think: the operating condition decides the specification. Send us the load, the speed, the running temperature and the environment it runs in, and we will match it to the right execution in the SKF range and confirm what is in stock.
Specify it against the duty.
Specification here follows the operating condition, not the catalogue. Table carries a long boring bar or a badly offset fixture — The larger bore series with a wider axial roller pitch circle. Tilting rigidity climbs with pitch circle far faster than it does with roller size. Coolant and swarf will sit on the table face — A design with the seal above the joint line and a drain path below it. Coolant that gets in cannot get out, and it washes the grease off the axial rows first. Tooling, coolant or a drawbar must pass through the axis — Through-hole series, and check the clear bore against the fixture hardware rather than against the bearing bore. Where two of those apply at once, specify for the harsher of the two — under-specifying is what puts the part back on the bench a month later. Send us the duty and we will confirm the execution.

Flange flatness under the bolts decides whether you ever see the catalogue rigidity. Machine both mating faces at one setting if the work allows, and pull the bolts up in a diametral pattern over at least three passes.
