Core Drilling Systems

Complete drilling packages made up of motor, stand, anchoring, water feed and collection, set up as one working unit. The system decides how true the hole runs; the bit only decides how fast. SES holds the range as an authorised Tyrolit distributor, covering hole diameters Small anchor cores up to roughly 600 mm; drives Electric and high-frequency motors; mounting Anchor bolt, vacuum plate, quick-clamp column; water Pressure feed, collection ring, slurry vacuum. Executions include wet core drilling systems, dry core drilling systems, hand-held coring systems, rig-mounted coring systems, among others. It is specified most often into pipe and cable penetrations through RCC slabs and anchor holes for machine foundations and crane rail fixings. Every part is genuine Tyrolit through official channels, with designation, specification and options confirmed against your duty before it ships — supplied from Kolkata and our branch network, with breakdown cover that does not sit in an inbox.

Where it runs.

You will find Core Drilling Systems in the parts of a plant where this particular duty actually occurs. In practice that means pipe and cable penetrations through RCC slabs, anchor holes for machine foundations and crane rail fixings, core samples for concrete strength testing, and equally drainage and dowel holes in civil works, duct openings through basement and retaining walls, ventilation cores through masonry in plant buildings. What links them is the duty rather than the machine name — output: Round holes, clean bore, no overcut. If your installation is not on that list it matters less than you would think: the operating condition decides the specification. Send us the load, the speed, the running temperature and the environment it runs in, and we will match it to the right execution in the Tyrolit range and confirm what is in stock.

Specify it against the duty.

Specification here follows the operating condition, not the catalogue. Drilling overhead into a slab soffit — A water collection ring with a stand anchored for that position. Slurry running back down the motor is the commonest cause of insulation failure on hire fleets. Hollow block or fluted substrate where vacuum will not hold — Mechanical anchoring. Vacuum fixing on porous or ribbed surfaces loses grip mid-cut and the bit jams the moment the stand shifts. Heavily reinforced concrete — A system with real torque at low speed and a segment specification for rebar. Pushing a light system through steel polishes the diamonds and the bit stops cutting altogether. Where two of those apply at once, specify for the harsher of the two — under-specifying is what puts the part back on the bench a month later. Send us the duty and we will confirm the execution.

Ordering this from SES.

Set out the anchor position with the bit dry-fitted in the rig. Once the anchor is in and the core is twenty millimetres deep, a hole that started fifteen millimetres off line stays fifteen millimetres off line.
