Drill Motors
The powerhead that turns the core bit, either hand-held or clamped to a rig. Gearing and available torque at the working speed decide whether the bit cuts reinforcement or rides over it, not the headline wattage. SES holds the range as an authorised Tyrolit distributor, covering supply Single phase, three phase and high-frequency options; gearing Two or three mechanical speeds typical; spindle Standard threaded core bit connection; water feed Integrated swivel with shut-off valve. Executions include hand-held drill motors, rig-mounted drill motors, high-frequency drill motors, wet drill motors, among others. It is specified most often into small-diameter anchor coring by hand during maintenance and rig-mounted coring for slab penetrations. Every part is genuine Tyrolit through official channels, with designation, specification and options confirmed against your duty before it ships — supplied from Kolkata and our branch network, with breakdown cover that does not sit in an inbox.

Where it runs.
You will find Drill Motors in the parts of a plant where this particular duty actually occurs. In practice that means small-diameter anchor coring by hand during maintenance, rig-mounted coring for slab penetrations, drilling brick and block partitions for services, and equally bore-through work for conveyor gallery and duct supports, sampling cores from floors before repair, wall openings in plant substations and cable rooms. What links them is the duty rather than the machine name — drive: Electric or high-frequency. If your installation is not on that list it matters less than you would think: the operating condition decides the specification. Send us the load, the speed, the running temperature and the environment it runs in, and we will match it to the right execution in the Tyrolit range and confirm what is in stock.
Specify it against the duty.
Specification here follows the operating condition, not the catalogue. Bits above roughly 250 mm diameter — A motor with a low gear and enough torque to hold peripheral speed. A large bit run in a high gear burns the segment bond before the core is out. Long cable runs and a supply that sags under load — A high-frequency motor with its own converter, or a motor rated for the actual site voltage. Under-voltage running cooks the windings quietly over weeks. Bit likely to jam on dense reinforcement — A mechanical slip clutch, not electronics alone. On a hand-held motor a sudden jam twists the operator's wrists before any sensor has reacted. Where two of those apply at once, specify for the harsher of the two — under-specifying is what puts the part back on the bench a month later. Send us the duty and we will confirm the execution.

Ordering this from SES.
Change gear only with the motor stopped. Forcing a shift under load rounds the dog teeth, and from then on the motor jumps out of gear every time the bit bites. Send the designation off the failed part and we will confirm the Tyrolit equivalent and stock position.
