Floor Sawing Blades
Large blades for walk-behind floor saws, cutting control joints and full-depth openings in slabs and road surfaces. Blade choice follows the age and aggregate of the concrete more closely than for any other diamond tool. SES holds the range as an authorised Tyrolit distributor, covering diameters 300 mm to 1000 mm; bore 25.4 mm, with drive pin holes on larger sizes; segment height Commonly 10 mm to 15 mm; segment joint Laser welded. Executions include green concrete blades with undercut protection, cured concrete blades, asphalt and abrasive material blades, reinforced concrete blades, among others. It is specified most often into control joint cutting in new yard and road slabs and trenching slabs for cable and pipe routes during plant expansion. Every part is genuine Tyrolit through official channels, with designation, specification and options confirmed against your duty before it ships — supplied from Kolkata and our branch network, with breakdown cover that does not sit in an inbox.

Where it runs.
You will find Floor Sawing Blades in the parts of a plant where this particular duty actually occurs. In practice that means control joint cutting in new yard and road slabs, trenching slabs for cable and pipe routes during plant expansion, cutting out damaged bays in factory floors for replacement, and equally asphalt repairs on internal roads within works premises, opening slab sections around foundations for machine relocation, cutting drainage channels in wash bays and process areas. What links them is the duty rather than the machine name — diameters: 300 mm to 1000 mm. If your installation is not on that list it matters less than you would think: the operating condition decides the specification. Send us the load, the speed, the running temperature and the environment it runs in, and we will match it to the right execution in the Tyrolit range and confirm what is in stock.
Specify it against the duty.
Specification here follows the operating condition, not the catalogue. Concrete is green and being cut within hours of the pour — A hard-bond blade with undercut protection. Green concrete is abrasive slurry and it will saw through an unprotected steel core from underneath. The slab is fully cured with hard aggregate — A softer bond in a laser-welded segment. Hard bond on cured concrete will not open up and the saw simply bogs down. The same saw is used on both asphalt and concrete — Two separate blades. An asphalt blade in concrete wears out very quickly, and a concrete blade in asphalt glazes solid within a few metres. Where two of those apply at once, specify for the harsher of the two — under-specifying is what puts the part back on the bench a month later. Send us the duty and we will confirm the execution.

Ordering this from SES.
Match the blade to the arbor speed, not only to the arbor size. A 1000 mm blade on a saw geared for 600 mm runs well over its rated peripheral speed, and nothing about the way it fits will warn you. Send the designation off the failed part and we will confirm the Tyrolit equivalent and stock position.
