Repeat the transitional pass until the floor reads clean at a low angle, because resin pads polish a scratch rather than remove it. Densifier already applied to the slab — A pad grade rated for the hardened surface. Standard pads glaze on densified concrete and the gloss simply stalls. Floor with a lot of exposed aggregate — Harder pads. Soft pads dish between the aggregate and leave a surface that undulates instead of running flat.
