Specification here follows the operating condition, not the catalogue. Very heavily reinforced or steel-rich section — A wire with bead concentration and bond chosen for steel content. A concrete-specification wire loses beads quickly once it runs mostly in steel. Cutting close to running plant — Wire sawing in place of percussive methods. The process is near-silent, almost vibration free, and the cut face comes out flat enough to build against. Underwater or flooded structures — A hydraulic drive with submersible-rated components and pulleys positioned by divers. Electric drives cannot be used at the waterline.
