Specification here follows the operating condition, not the catalogue. Coating is thick and rubbery — PCD with a wide gullet so material clears behind the cutter. A tight-clearance block packs solid and then rides over the coating. Thin brittle coating over hard concrete — Quarter-round or single-cutter blocks, lightly loaded. A full block on a thin coating gouges into the slab underneath. Slab must be left flat for a new resin system — Follow the PCD pass with medium metal segments. PCD leaves tracking lines and a resin coat will show every one of them.
