Specification here follows the operating condition, not the catalogue. The tool states a required flow — A pack that delivers that flow at working pressure, not at free flow. A pack short on flow lets the saw stall in the cut and the blade rubs. Long hose runs to the working face — Larger-bore hoses with an allowance for pressure drop. Every extra coil costs power at the tool and puts heat into the oil. High ambient temperature or long shifts — A pack with an oil cooler and clear space around it for airflow. Once oil temperature climbs the pump derates and cutting slows with no obvious cause.
