Discs on an angle grinder leave overlapping arcs that show through paint. Inside corners, fillets and tight joints — A cup brush, which presents its face into the corner. A circular brush reaches the corner only on its edge, and edge working wears it out fast. Root and fit-up cleaning before the welder starts — Hand brushes at the fit-up station. Quicker than fetching a machine, and it stops the weld being contaminated in the first place.
